Maureen’s Haven and Parade Committee Team Up to Help Homeless

Food Pantry Gets Helping Hand from WHB St. Pat’s Committee

Founded in 1995 the the Immaculate Conception Church Parish Hall in Westhampton runs the Food Pantry and is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Westhampton Rotary and Westhampton Kiwanis.
St. Pat’s Committee Supports Maureen’s Haven Homeless Shelters
The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee donated $1,250 to Maureen’s Haven on October 14, 2011 as part of its annual support of local charities thanks in part to Capital One Bank, the prime sponsor of the Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Maureen’s Haven works to help homeless people throughout the winter by partnering with local churches to provide a warm place to sleep from November to April.
Wounded Warriors and Parade Committee Join Forces
The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee donated $1,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project this winter as part of its annual charitable work.

Parade Committee Donates $1,000 to Southampton Town PAL
The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is proud to donate $1,000 to the Southampton Town Police Athletic League. Congratulations to the coaches, parents and athletes on another great season.
WHB St. Pat’s Committee Helps Give a Lift To Our Local Veterans
The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee donated $1,000 to Honor Flight in January of 2009. Honor Flight helps transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. Locally, the WHB Parade Committee wanted to help our local VFW Post 5350 in Quogue do their part.

Westhampton Beach St. Pat’s Parade Committee Lends Support
The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee works to support other fine organizations in the months leading up to and after the Parade. In 2008 the Committee donated $500 to the Southampton Town Police Athletic League and $500 to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge as well as $500 to East End Hospice.
St. Pat’s Parade Committee Teams Up with Westhampton Steakhouse for Holiday Toy Drive
Working with the owners of the Westhampton Steakhouse in Westhampton Beach, the members of the WHB St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee
are hosting the 2009 Holiday Toy Drive this Friday, December 4 beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the children and teens of several local charities.
More than 200 people showed for a night of complimentary drinks and appetizers donated by the owners of the Steakhouse for the last Toy Drive. The effort collected thousands of dollars of toys and was a huge success as local dignitaries such as Congressman Tim Bishop stopped by to lend a helping hand.
